Background
The St. Jorge name stems from the Saint George, who was a Roman Empire soldier who is today venerated as a Christian martyr. His slaying the dragon is a scene painted over and over in history by many of the great Masters. He has become a symbol of strength and faith to many around the world.
Keeping the Portuguese heritage in mind, St. Jorge has planted a new vineyard with many Portuguese varieties.
